After starting her career in the corporate sector, she shifted her focus to mission-driven organizations that prioritize health, wellness, and community well-being. Mali is a passionate advocate for special education and autism awareness, driven by her experience as a mother of a child with special needs. Trained as an IEP Parent Member, she supports families of children on the autism spectrum, helping them access services that foster success and fulfillment. A proud Bronx native, Mali actively contributes to her community through volunteering, donations, and engagement in local school and neighborhood initiatives. Outside of her professional and volunteer work, she enjoys spending time with her twin teenagers, yoga, meditation and hobbies like reading, jewelry making, and sewing.
