Yaakov has over 18 years of experience working in SEC reporting and technical accounting roles for both pre-IPO and publicly traded companies. During his extended tenure with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, Yaakov developed an extensive knowledge of SEC reporting, US GAAP and IFRS through his in-depth review of both ’33 and ’34 Act SEC filings. Prior to his time with the SEC, Yaakov worked in an SEC reporting role for a large publicly traded company and in an audit role with Ernst & Young, LLP.
During his free time, Yaakov enjoys exercising, spending quality time with his wife and kids, and pursuing the perfect cup of coffee. In addition, as a former Baltimorean, he also enjoys fervently rooting for the Orioles and Ravens.
