Yaakov is a strategic thinker with over 16 years of experience working with pre-IPO and publicly traded companies in both external and internal financial reporting roles. During his extended tenure with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, Yaakov worked in the Division of Corporation Finance, where he developed extensive SEC reporting and US GAAP knowledge. Prior to his time with the SEC, Yaakov worked in several internal financial reporting roles where he gained a deep understanding of both the month-end close and financial planning and analysis processes.
Yaakov enjoys working out, spending quality time with his wife and four daughters, and pursuing the perfect cup of coffee. In addition, as a native Baltimorean, he also enjoys rooting for the Orioles and Ravens.
