Cheryl comes to Eventus Advisory Group, LLC as a skilled Chief Financial Officer who is passionate about financial operations, data analytics, and modeling. She has broad industry experience in fields such as chemical manufacturing, construction, banking, food service, as well as many others.

After Graduating from McGill University with a Bachelor of Commerce in International Business, Cheryl began her career at BDO Seidman in the Business Valuation Services Group where she performed hundreds of valuations for clients ranging from small private local companies to multi-billion dollar, multinational corporations, in over 30 different industries.

She then obtained an MBA in Strategic Management and Entrepreneurship from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania.

Prior to joining Eventus, Cheryl was a Vice President in the Regulatory Capital Management office at JPMorgan Chase where she was responsible for the firmwide Quantitative Impact Study. During the height of the financial crisis, Cheryl worked in restructuring where she represented the creditor committee and DIP lenders and worked directly with company management on a multibillion-dollar bankruptcy. She also worked at Capstone Advisory Group and Allstate Sprinkler, focusing mostly on operations and valuation.

During her almost 20 years in finance, Cheryl has been the CFO for a number of companies in industries ranging from online media to technology to construction to non-profits. In addition to finance leadership, she has extensive expertise in implementing systems, establishing processes and optimizing operations. Cheryl is also a CFA Charterholder.

In her spare time, she loves to travel and has visited over 40 countries, with only another 150 to go!
