Jasmin Sethi

Jasmin comes to Eventus Advisory Group with extensive experience in the financial services industry and with a strong track record in helping her clients through the regulatory process.

After graduating from Harvard College with a B.A. in Applied Mathematics and Economics, she attended the London School of Economics on a Fulbright Scholarship, where she received an M.Sc. in Economics. Jasmin returned to Harvard where she received her J.D. as well as a Ph.D. in Economics.

Prior to joining Eventus, she was Special Counsel at the Securities and Exchange Commission’s Division of Trading and Markets in the Office of Market Supervision and was also an adjunct professor of law at Georgetown University Law Center and SEC University. Most recently, Jasmin was a Vice President in BlackRock’s Legal and Compliance group where she collaborated with individuals in the legal, business, and government relations groups to advocate for BlackRock’s views on a variety of policy matters.

Jasmin was a clerk on the Tenth Circuit court of appeals and worked for Mayer Brown, LLP. She has provided regulatory advice to Morningstar, BlackRock, and others.
