Judah Kaplan

Director

Judah comes to Eventus Advisory Group, LLC as a senior finance and risk management executive who drives creative solutions for complex business problems.  Through a novel use of analytics and a “fresh lens” perspective, his approach leads to more informative reporting and management metrics, as well as improved pricing models.

After graduating from Yeshiva University with a B.S. in Accounting, Judah began his career at Deloitte and Touche LLP, where he audited financial statements for investment and real estate management firms. He obtained an MBA in Financial Engineering from the MIT Sloan School of Management. Judah became a CFA Charter holder in 2005 and holds a CPA in New York State.

Prior to joining Eventus, Judah was a co-founder and COO/CFO of Cuzco Capital, a private-equity-style fund that invests in illiquid assets. He also served as a Vice President of Counterparty Credit Risk Management at JPMorgan Chase and at iQor, a large accounts receivable management and business process outsourcing (BPO) firm, where he was a Senior Vice President and Treasurer.

Judah has spent a considerable portion of his career dedicated to risk management. Recently, he was a subject matter expert for Paypal on risk management and prior to that, he was at PwC, consulting for financial institutions on the impact of new regulations.

He excels at building relationships across large, complicated organizations with key investors, senior management, regulators, and clients.

Judah is married with three children and has served on the Board of his children’s school, is an active member in his synagogue community, and coaches little league baseball.
